Bath time song for kids — "Squeaky Clean!" cover art by Snuggle Bunch

Squeaky Clean!

About This Song

Bath time in our house goes one of two ways: absolute refusal to get in, or absolute refusal to get out. Usually both. “Squeaky Clean!” is for that first hurdle — getting everyone into the tub with minimal negotiations. Once the suds are flowing and the rub-a-dub-dub kicks in, even the most reluctant bather starts having a good time. Just please don’t pee! We’re trying to get clean.

This splashy kids’ hip hop bath time song makes the daily scrub-down feel like an event for toddlers and preschoolers. Part hygiene lesson, part party anthem — because the bath is part of our daily routine, and it might as well have a soundtrack, with a little klezmer flavor because why not!

Squeaky clean
In the bath we get squeaky clean
Washing our body
Squeaky clean
In the bath we get squeaky clean
Yeah you know what I mean

Listen up
We’re filling up the tub
So get yourself ready
To rub a dub dub
Soaking with the suds
From some nice ol’ soapy
Low key I’d like to take a bath
It’s dope, see?

Squeaky clean!
In the bath we get squeaky clean!
Washing our body
Squeaky clean!
In the bath we get squeaky clean!
Yeah you know what I mean!

Being in the bath is the place to be
For babies, kids, mommies and daddies
A warm tub of water is nice and fun
And you’ll be all clean when we’re finally done

The bath is part of our daily routine
Keep ourselves clean, we call that hygiene
Do whatever you want in this watery scene
Just please don’t pee, we’re trying to get clean!

Squeaky clean!
In the bath we get squeaky clean!
Washing our body
Squeaky clean!
In the bath we get squeaky clean!
Yeah you know what I mean!

  • Ducky! (Quack Quack Quack)

“Ducky! (Quack Quack Quack)” is a little different from other Snuggle Bunch songs. It’s an experimental, sample-based track born from a moment of pure joy — watching my one-year-old spot his favorite rubber ducky and completely lose it with excitement! It’s not a lyrical deep-dive, and it’s not trying to be. It’s a vibe! Playful, chaotic, and overflowing with the kind of happiness only a toddler and a bath toy can create.

  • Twinkle Twinkle Little Star (R&B Mix)

You’ve sung “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” a thousand times. In the car, at bedtime, in the grocery store when things were getting dicey. So we figured, what if that melody got the R&B treatment it’s been quietly deserving all along? This version keeps every word your kids already know and wraps it in a smooth, soulful groove that won’t make you want to leave the room by verse two.

  • Time to Take a Nap

Nap time isn’t just for kids — it’s a survival strategy for the whole house. “Time to Take a Nap” is the original nap anthem, and it keeps it real: naptime makes everything better! And yeah, we’d nap too if we didn’t have cleanup to do.

  • Little Bird!

There’s something special about watching a little bird hop around in a tree. Happy, wild, free, doing a little wiggle and fluffing its feathers. It just clicks with kids! “Little Bird!” captures that wide-eyed wonder. We wrote this one outside of daycare right after dropoff, it has a special place in our hearts!

  • Peanut Butter Sandwich!

Mom made something amazing for dinner. Dad put together a beautiful plate. And yet, the kid wants a peanut butter sandwich. Every family has that one meal their kid will always choose over whatever you actually cooked, and “Peanut Butter Sandwich!” turns that standoff into a groove. No negotiations, no bribes, just pure loyalty to their favorite food no matter what else is on offer.

  • Teamwork (Makes the Dream Work!)

Some things are just better together! Building a block tower, cleaning up toys, or playing outside on a nice day. “Teamwork (Makes the Dream Work!)” is a song about cooperation and collaboration. It’s the kind of song that gets stuck in your head for a reason: it’s a good message! We’re greater than the sum of our parts, and this track makes sure your kids know it.
