About This Song

Cut a watermelon open in front of a kid and watch their face. “Watermelon Watermelon Watermelon!” is a sunny-day anthem that captures the pure joy of summer’s best fruit. Watermelon is sweet, hydrating, and messy in the best possible way. A sunny warm day is quite alright, but when there’s a watermelon, it’s out of sight!

This feel-good family hip hop track pairs perfectly with backyard hangs, picnics, and any moment with a slice of watermelon. A catchy healthy eating song for toddlers, preschoolers, and anyone who’s ever said “let’s all eat watermelon today!” and meant it with their whole heart.

Let’s all eat watermelon today!

Big ol’ green melon
You never would believe it
Cut the melon open
It’s juicy and delicious
Funky little seeds
That are okay to eat
Or you can spit them all out
Right back onto your plate

A sunny warm day is quite alright
And when there’s a watermelon
Then it’s out of sight!

Watermelon, watermelon, watermelon, Say!
Watermelon, watermelon, watermelon, Hey!
Watermelon, watermelon memory
Watermelon, watermelon, watermelon
Let’s all eat watermelon today!

Watermelon is a fruit that you wouldn’t believe
Did you know it’s actually a giant berry
It’s grown on a vine, loved throughout time
Sweet and hydrating and that’s by design

Watermelon water watermelon watermelon
Watermelon water watermelon watermelon
Watermelon water watermelon watermelon
Let’s all eat watermelon today!

Watermelon, watermelon, watermelon
Watermelon, watermelon, watermelon
Watermelon, watermelon, watery
Watermelon, watermelon, watermelon
Let’s all eat watermelon today!

  • THREEnager!

    ByWolfie

They want it. They need it. They must have it right now! You hand it over and…nope, they don’t want it anymore, it’s on the floor. Welcome to three. “THREEnager!” is told from the kid’s perspective — they make a fair point: they’ve only been on this planet for three short years, everything is a challenge. That doesn’t make the “why why why” phase any easier to survive, but at least now it has a beat!

  • I Want To Have Fun!

    ByWolfie

The title track and high-energy opener of Snuggle Bunch’s second album. “I Want To Have Fun!” is a family hip hop anthem that captures the first-thing-in-the-morning burst of energy every parent knows too well. Full lyrics and streaming links inside.

  • Time to Take a Nap (Foxy’s Version)

    ByFoxy Rox

One of our first songs was a lullaby featuring folk singer Mama Goose. After recording, we decided to let Foxy have a shot at recording this a laid-back, melodic spin on one of our first tracks. It hits different when you need something a little softer to wind things down. Featuring an extended outro thats designed to give parents the time to pause the music and sneak out of the room.

  • Peanut Butter Sandwich!

    ByFoxy Rox

Mom made something amazing for dinner. Dad put together a beautiful plate. And yet, the kid wants a peanut butter sandwich. Every family has that one meal their kid will always choose over whatever you actually cooked, and “Peanut Butter Sandwich!” turns that standoff into a groove. No negotiations, no bribes, just pure loyalty to their favorite food no matter what else is on offer.

  • Little Man Dance

    ByWolfie

A new experimental jazz tune with Jazz Animals, inspired entirely by this adorable squat dance my one year old does whenever he hears a song he likes! A big fan of the sound of a trumpet, this one takes a similar sample-based approach to You’re a Big Man!, but with a slightly more laid-back vibe.
