Broccoli song for kids — "Broccoli Lovers!" cover art by Snuggle Bunch

Broccoli Lovers!

About This Song

When my one-year-old discovered broccoli and decides it’s the greatest thing on the planet, I wrote a song about it! “Broccoli Lovers!” was born out of watching our littlest Snuggle Bunch fan devour every piece of broccoli in sight, while his skeptical three-year-old brother looked on, unconvinced. This fun family hip hop track is a love letter to the kids who can’t get enough of the green stuff, and a gentle nudge for the ones still making up their minds.

With its catchy hook and playful rhymes, “Broccoli Lovers!” makes healthy eating fun for toddlers, preschoolers, and the whole family. Because if we can get kids excited about vegetables through music, that’s a win for everyone… even if big brother still isn’t buying it.

🥦 🥦 🥦 🥦 🥦 🥦

Broccoli is not so bad yeah
Broccoli will make ya glad
It’s good for girls and lads
Where my broccoli lovers at?

Broccoli will help you grow tall
It is really good with butter and salt
It has vitamins C, K and A
It help you stay nice and healthy (heyy!)

Broccoli is not so bad yeah
Broccoli is not a fad
It’s good for girls and lads
Where my broccoli lovers at?

Broccoli! Broccoli!
Broccoli broccoli broccoli broccoli

Broccoli looks like a tree
To a worm or little buggy
It’s the vegetable of choice for me
Cause I want to grow up quickly

Broccoli is not so bad yeah
Broccoli is not a fad
It’s good for girls and lads
Where my broccoli lovers at?

Where my broccoli lovers at?

  • Let’s Go Outside!

It could be raining. It could be a hurricane! But the kids need to go outside. We’ve all had the realization that no amount of toys, screen time, or couch forts will substitute for just getting them out the door. “Let’s Go Outside!” is that truth set to a beat, it’s as much a pep talk for us as it is for them.

  • Little Bird!

There’s something special about watching a little bird hop around in a tree. Happy, wild, free, doing a little wiggle and fluffing its feathers. It just clicks with kids! “Little Bird!” captures that wide-eyed wonder. We wrote this one outside of daycare right after dropoff, it has a special place in our hearts!

  • I’m a Dog!

“I’m a Dog!” captures that pure, unfiltered joy of pretending to be a puppy! Complete with woofing, being aloof, and dropping bars in the booth. It’s silly, it’s loud, and it’s exactly as chaotic as the living room on a Saturday morning.

  • I’m a Little Teapot!

Your kids already know the words. They’ve been doing the handle-and-spout dance since daycare. So we took “I’m a Little Teapot” and flipped it to a hip hop bop it’s been waiting for. We kept the classic verses and added on our spin about heating up water for mommies and daddies, and how a fresh cup of tea helps us parents! Let’s be real, sometimes a teapot song is for the grown-ups too.

  • Ask For Help!

There’s always that one snack, the favorite toy, the thing your toddler absolutely needs right this second. And instead of asking, they’re already scaling the furniture like a tiny rock climber with zero safety training. “Ask For Help!” is the song for that moment. It’s a gentle reminder that parents are tall for a reason, and there’s no shame in letting someone reach it for you.
